This quote has become a mantra for me! I teach others how to integrate the veracity of these words into their lives. I have worked with individuals and families for over 30 years. It has been amazing to witness hundreds transform their lives from Surviving to Thriving! I believe YOU are ready to move into a life of purpose, vision, and joy.
I started working at age 12 because I wanted to be able to buy things my parents could not afford. It never occurred to me that I couldn't do anything I wanted to do. Someone hired me for every job I applied to. This sense of self continued into my early 20's, and then it faded. I suddenly believed I was less than capable of doing anything well. I struggled to gain control of my mind and my life, resulting in destructive behaviors that I have since conquered. Falling into despair and confusion about who I was, became one of the darkest moments in my life. I then learned how to tend to my trauma compassionately and to heal. I also began to serve others. I became a successful entrepreneur, running a thriving private practice in behavioral health.
I know what it is to struggle with self-doubt, toxic relationships, challenging work environments, and a lack of clarity, and I have learned what it takes to move from emptiness in life to fullness!
You have the strength and stamina you need to create the life you desire and deserve. I can move you to action. I understand the "why" and "how" of being misled by our thoughts. That said, I come to you with the expertise of a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and a Master Licensed Drug and Alcohol Drug Counselor. The knowledge and training required for those credentials inform my insights into human behavior.
